NOURISH
~ 4 weeks to demystifying how to fuel your body after cancer & for cancer prevention ~
Tap into the healing power of food so you can stop being afraid of what to eat, focus on what habits really matter, and start living fully in your life again
You've likely been told that the food you eat doesn't matter... or that soy causes breast cancer.... or that non-organic food is harmful....
I understand how confusing it can be to navigate nutrition post-cancer, & to tease out what things actually matter... because I've been there myself.
It is clear that the way we eat CAN impact our health, and help our bodies feel their best.
But what's NOT clear, is how our food choices can impact wellness after cancer.
The problem is...
There is SO much information out there - but good information is mixed in with bad, and it's incredibly hard to navigate what is what
Messaging on the internet can create so much anxiety and distress that we begin to fear everything, including food
We don't know where to start - we dabble in some things, experiment with others, binge on foods that we think we should be eating lots of but that don't feel great, wipe our hands clean of everything, then start all over again
We get overwhelmed, which just leads to analysis paralysis & we start questioning everything
Conflicting advice makes us question our resources, and makes it difficult to trust what we read
And the biggest problem of all? We never truly commit to making simple, specific, impactful changes that are sustainable, make sense for us, and are enjoyable, and that are absolutely achievable with the proper guidance
"Is eating organic important?"
"Can I eat meat?"
"Is soy okay to eat?"
"How many teaspoons of turmeric is best?"
"What about sugar - doesn't it 'feed cancer'?"
"Do I need a greens powder?"
These are just some of the questions I get on a daily basis... questions that are rooted in overwhelm, fear, the tiniest details, and LOTS of misinformation.
And not surprisingly! Entering life after cancer can feel a bit like a sinking ship... drowning in a sea of the unknown. And FOOD can be a key source of this distress.
This is why I created NOURISH
