A Little About Me

Growing up, I was absolutely certain I wanted to become a Medical Doctor with my love for the human body and how it works.  However, disappointment in the allopathic management of my own chronic disease triggered my passion for whole-body, prevention-oriented, person-centered healthcare.  I wanted something more -  individualized lifestyle, nutrition, and preventative measures to improve my outcomes.

This ultimately led me to Naturopathic Medicine and the comprehensive, holistic, and individualized approach to healthcare it offers,  alongside appropriate conventional care.  I realized that integrating the allopathic and naturopathic worlds could offer results that outperformed expectations of either alone.

In my clinical practice, I have become most passionate about offering integrative cancer care, closing gaps in cancer survivorship care, optimizing the perimenopause/menopause transition, and getting to the root cause of chronic digestive complaints.

When people are given the individualized tools they need to reclaim their health,
they can live aligned, joy-filled lives again

I am a registered Naturopathic Doctor with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, based in Barrie, Ontario, Canada.  I am currently serving all Ontario residents through secure telemedicine, offering virtual care only at this time.  After graduating from the CNME-accredited four-year post-graduate naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, I pursued further education in integrative cancer care and was accepted into the only CNME-approved Naturopathic Residency program focusing on cancer care in Canada at that time.  I have completed additional Therapeutic Prescribing accreditation to allow me to prescribe bio-identical hormones and specific high-dose nutrients, and training in Naturopathic Intravenous Infusion Therapy (IVIT).
